I support Advance Native Political Leadership’s efforts to create representational parity in elected office by running their email program which has been pivotal in recruiting & training hundreds of Native leaders in their journey to run for office.

Paid Leave
for the U.S.

After working on paid leave legislation at Paid Leave for the U.S. (PL+US) as their Digital Campaigns Director, I switched into a consultant capacity and project managed their website, ran their social media accounts, and managed their email program.

The Defenders
of Justice

In 2022, I had the pleasure of working with La Defensa to inform their digital and field strategy to elect a slate of four powerful women into the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Through grassroots digital and field organizing, we elected the first ever Public Defender into office (Holly Hancock) and educated voters along the way.

Abortion Rights

I joined UltraViolet to reach and mobilize 1 million voters in CA, GA, MI, KY, NC, and NV to pass pro-choice ballot measures and elect abortion champions. I led their peer-to-peer texting programs from beginning to end and trained their volunteers using the latest SMS tools.

People don’t quit their jobs, they quit their managers

I worked with PowerLabs to provide a free course for leaders across various movements on the tools needed to be the best manager. This was a 3-day long training based off of Google Project Oxygen’s training.

Policy & more

Laws have a huge impact on our everyday lives. Here are some of the most memorable pieces of legislation I’ve worked on:

  • I managed 40+ staff and volunteers in hosting statewide phone banks to pass SB 464 (a bill that requires all healthcare providers to undergo implicit bias training).

  • I contributed to the passing of SB 54 by hosting house parties across California, and organizing events in Sacramento with coalition partners. Because of this bill, police and sheriff departments can no longer funnel undocumented immigrants to I.C.E detention centers.

  • I helped project manage and create a marketing plan for the first ever CA scorecard to grade elected officials.
